When new to a church there are a number of questions you are likely to ask: Who are these people?  Why are they here? What excites them?  This page seeks to answer those questions.

Jesus Christ

The most important thing to understand Beccles Baptist Church is that we are defined by Jesus Christ. We exist because he is God’s Son, he died for us and he rose from the grave.  To understand who we are, you need to understand who he is.

Followers of Jesus Christ

Our church is a community of people from all ages and backgrounds united by our faith in and love for the Lord Jesus Christ.  We meet regularly together on Sundays and in small groups to grow in our love for the Lord Jesus and for each other. 

For Beccles

We are committed to reach out and serve our town of Beccles and the surrounding area with the good news of Jesus Christ. 

Affiliations

We are affiliated to three organisations which provide us with fellowship with other churches and support in the work of the gospel. These three affiliations are: 

  1. The Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC), a group of over 600 churches across the UK. 
  2. The Grace Baptist Association, a network of churches across the south and east of England.
  3. The Suffolk Gospel Partnership, a group of churches that seeks to connect and equip gospel churches in order to grow, plant and revitalise gospel churches.
