To do the work that God is calling us to do requires us to be people who pray and, where we are able, to be people who give. All that Beccles Baptist Church does is enabled by the generous giving of those people who are part of the church – for which we are hugely grateful to God!

Our giving is motivated by God’s immeasurable grace towards us in Christ.
“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.” 2 Corinthians 8:9 (NIV)

Our giving is to be guided by our own desire to give back out of gratitude to God.
“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”  2 Corinthians 9:7 (NIV)

Our giving is enabled by God’s generous provision to us of all that we need.
“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”  2 Corinthians 9:8 (NIV)

How to give

1. What to give

First, work out the amount you wish to give. A helpful guide in the Bible is to give 10% of our income – but note that’s a guide and not a law. We’re free to give more. We may choose to give less. If giving is able to be planned and regular, that’s a great help.

2. How to give 

Then, decide how you will give.

  1. Set up a regular or one-off bank transfer, using the church bank details below. 
  2. Set up a standing order either directly with you bank again using the details below or by completing a standing order form, available at the church building.
  3. Give by cheque or cash using the giving boxes in the church building.

3. Gift Aid

If you are a taxpayer please consider gift aiding. This enables the church to reclaim income tax on your giving. Please complete and return the “Gift Aid” form which can be downloaded below. 4. Communicate
